Project Wing

Project Wing is a Google-backed autonomous delivery drone service aimed at increasing access to goods, reducing congestion in cities and eliminating emissions created by transporting goods. Real-world deliveries have taken place in rural Australia, involving the delivery of first-aid and food.

Google selected APD F Series motor controllers to meet the complex requirements for this project. The ESCs were rigorously tested by the Wing team against other controllers from all leading manufacturers. Our off-the-shelf motor controller solution proved to be robust in an application where reliability is critical.
